I tried very hard to be a conservative when I got married in order to fit in with my husband's family.
But it didn't take and I felt like a phony, betraying my blue collar upbringing. In the meantime, I've also learned that conservatives don't suffer wannabes gladly. :-) So dropping it was the right thing to do.

I'm in almost the exact same spot, just with 4's instead of 2's. I'm tight with the Dalai Lama, I guess.
