IPod working? Hmm, I don't know but it seems to be.

I made another appointment at the Apple Store for today. The same "genius" from yesterday was there. He may have remembered my situation, I don't know, but I reminded him of what he did for me yesterday and told him what I tried at home afterwards.

So, he proceeded to load up about 30 songs onto my iPod, to my complete astonishment.

And, now, at home, iTunes is updating everything, a song a second.

I reseated my cabling but that's the only change I've made. The "genius" suggested swapping out the cabling but it never came to that.

So, go until there's a problem again, I guess. Glad it wasn't a bad sector.
