This story is good news for our church and its budding youth group program.

Just a correction on the article: Fr. Lang is the pastor of St. Joe's and Rev. Pike is the pastor of the PCUSA church in town. The article flipped them. But Fr. Mike assured us tonight at Mass that we are "stuck" with him. As to the quotations in the article, I think that they are accurately attributed to the right men.

The article gives you a sense of how small the town is with only three houses of worship. And how wealthy the town is!

There might be another religious group that meets at the synagogue in town on Sunday mornings. I assume so only because I see cars there on my way past. I don't think it's the members of the synagogue but it could be them.
